Aragon

Background
In 2024, Aragon — one of the most recognized projects in the blockchain and DAO infrastructure space — reached out to me directly. The company had just gone through a severe internal crisis: approximately 80% of the development team and the CEO had left almost overnight. Core products were stalling, roadmap execution had frozen, team morale was extremely low, and the future of the entire organization was in serious doubt.Challenges
Massive talent drain: ~80% of developers gone, plus the CEO
Operational standstill: key products and development pipelines frozen
No structured management or execution framework in place
Urgent need to stabilize the organization, rebuild leadership, and restart delivery
Pressure to keep delivering value to the DAO community and ecosystem partners
My Approach
I stepped in to help Aragon rebuild from the ground up. My main goals were to stabilize the company, implement sustainable processes, bring in strong leadership, and get products moving again. Here's what I did:
Introduced OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) as the central alignment and execution framework — helping the remaining team focus on clear, measurable priorities.
Implemented lean and agile management practices tailored to a fully remote, crypto-native environment — speeding up decisions and reducing waste.
Actively supported the search and onboarding of high-caliber top managers and product leaders who could scale the organization long-term.
Revived stalled products by restructuring workflows, removing blockers, and getting engineering delivery back on track.
Personally trained and coached the new and remaining managers in modern product & engineering best practices.
Established lightweight but effective governance, communication, and accountability standards to prevent future crises.
Results
The organization survived the crisis and came out significantly stronger and more structured.
We successfully recruited and onboarded experienced top managers who continue to lead Aragon forward.
Core products were brought back online, improved, and relaunched with renewed focus and quality.
Aragon started attracting both grassroots DAO communities and top-tier players in the crypto industry again.
Thanks to OKRs, lean-agile processes, and clear management standards, the company achieved long-term operational stability. As of 2026, Aragon remains active, healthy, and continues to be one of the most respected names in DAO infrastructure.
Conclusion
In 2024, I personally helped Aragon navigate one of the most severe crises a crypto project can face. Through decisive action, modern management frameworks (OKRs, lean, agile), strategic talent rebuilding, and hands-on coaching, we turned a near-fatal situation into a solid foundation for sustainable growth. Today, Aragon is still operating successfully and delivering value to the ecosystem. If your organization is going through rapid change, team disruption, leadership gaps, or needs to implement effective execution systems in a fast-moving environment, feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to discuss how I can support your goals.
